BBYSL Adopts Temperature Policy
At our November 2nd 2011 Executive Board Meeting a Temperature Policy was created to help protect our players and coaches in the event of extreme heat conditions. The official website of www.weather.com will be used to determine the heat index 2 hours prior to game time. |

BBYSL Field Usage
BBYSL Coaches, Parents, and Players should respect the fields at all times. If you come out to the fields and you see that some of them are freshly dragged and you see chalk lines on the infield. This means the fields are READY FOR A GAME. STAY OFF THE FIELDS. Move to other green space areas outside of the foul lines and outfield fences. Thank You For Your Cooperation! |

Nora Duffy has been approved as an authorized Softball Instructor. She is offering Hitting, Catching, Pitching, and Fielding Instruction from now until August 20th. Please find the attached flier. Please contact Nora to work out lesson times and compensation. |

Summer Sizzler Tournament Dates Released
The Tournament Dates have been released. The links in this News Article only provide the dates and times of the tournament games. The TEAM NAMES have not been added yet - pending the FINAL regular season standings. New Service Door On Umpire Garage
Two area businesses have stepped forward to install and replace the service door to the Umpire Garage this season. Chris Benson of Security Lumber will supply the new door, frame, and hardware. League Purchases New Infield Groomer
For last 2-3 years BBYSL has been looking to purchase an infield groomer that would be multi-functional and heavy duty enough to handle our infields made up of crushed limestone and Dura-Play. The "Infield Rascal" appears to that solution. |

Work has begun on the new 6U practice field and will be located to the south of our existing fields. 6U fields are for 6U teams only and may not be used by any other divisions for any type of practice including warming up pitchers. |
