BBYSL FIELD USAGE

1.  In March, April, and May the Bradley-Bourbonnais Community High School Softball Program has PRIORITY over ALL BBYSL Practices and FIELD USAGE.  This includes ALL BBCHS practices and games.  Sometimes BBCHS games that are schedule as away games MAY be rescheduled at BBYSL because we have the most playable fields in their conference during in-climate weather.  BBYSL coaches and teams will have to change their practice plans.

If you see fields NOT being used, BBYSL coaches may use the areas, HOWEVER, if BBCHS players and coaches need to use the area after you have started your practice - BBYSL teams MUST leave the area.  Ask the BBCHS Coaching Staff when you might be able to return to the area.  There is plenty of green space outside of the actual fields that can be used.  And when the BBCHS teams are finished using the area please give them a little time to clear the fields and dugout areas before returning to the field area.  The spirits of cooperation, friendship, and sportsmanship are expected by all BBYSL Coaches, Parents, and Players.

2.  When teams can practice on the fields and there are multiple teams from your division at the complex for practice on their assigned day - coaches should to talk to each other and arrange EQUAL infield time.  Your team does not need an infield for their entire practice.  It should be utilized for infield practice, running, and defense situations.  Each Division Representative may adopt other guidelines for their divisions.  Coaches are to be friendly, courteous, and be willing to communicate with other coaches to workout field usage on their assigned days.  Consider the mission of BBYSL.

3.  The following schedule establishes what division on what day have priority to field usage.  It does not mean a team from a different division cannot practice on a day different from what is scheduled - it means if your team is on a field and it is NOT your divisions assigned day for field usage - your team MUST yield to the division teams assigned on that day.

4.  ALL TEAMS, PLAYERS, & PARENTS ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR KEEPING THE COMPLEX CLEAN & NEAT.  Pickup trash EVEN when it is not yours should be the mindset every time each of us are at the complex.

MONDAY = 8U
TUESDAY = 10U
WEDNESDAY = 12U
THURSDAY = 14U
FRIDAY = 18U
SATURDAY = ANY DIVISION - (First Come, First Served)
SUNDAY = ANY DIVISION - (First Come, First Served)

Thank you BBYSL coaches!  Again, BBCHS is our Complex Partner and we should be considerate of their softball program, coaches, and players.  We do what we do for our children in hopes that they will learn from us and help make BBYSL a leader in youth sports in our community!  We CAN do it together!  See you at the fields!
